House of contrasts

In the House of Contrasts project, pure architecture meets technical precision. The family house, located in a newly built residential area, is built on the contrast of materials. Large-scale glazing, raw concrete and warm natural wood combine to create a space that feels open and at the same time intimate, modern and timeless.

The beauty of architecture often arises from the union of opposites. In the House of Contrasts, solid concrete meets the warmth of natural wood and large-scale glazing. The wood-aluminium windows used are the result of precision manufacturing, where every detail is designed with an emphasis on stability, fit accuracy and long service life.

This project shows that the contrast of materials can create a harmonious and functional whole.

About the project

The windows that shape the character of the house

The basis of the construction is a concrete structure, which sets the rhythm of the entire space. The interior is oriented towards the garden, where the facade smoothly turns into an all-glass wall. It provides an unobstructed view, lets in natural light and creates a harmonious link between interior and exterior. Natural wood in the interior softens the rigor of concrete and brings warmth and coziness to the space. A distinctive feature is also the wood-aluminum MINTAL windows, which play an important role not only in terms of aesthetics, but also in the technical solution of the entire structure. Extensive glazed areas require extreme accuracy and strength. A combined frame system was used, where the inner wooden profile ensures stability and excellent mechanical properties, while the outer aluminum protects against adverse weather and UV rays. This combination allows the realization of large-format solutions without the need for additional reinforcements, while maintaining long-term shape stability, minimal maintenance requirements and high durability. The overall meaning of the project is proof that modern architecture can approach both materials and the surrounding space with respect. Here MINTAL windows not only perform a technical function, but become an integral part of the architecture. They define the character of the house, create a calm visual frame and connect the interior with the outside world. Thus, they promote the atmosphere of cleanliness, openness and comfort that is characteristic of this house.

By the Water

The "By the Water" project was undoubtedly one of our most challenging undertakings. Difficult terrain combined with the immense load-bearing requirements of each frame truly tested our installation team. It’s no surprise that competing companies chose not to take on this project.

Project Glass Wall on the House

In our Glass Wall Project, we installed on the house a glass wall that not only provided barrier-free views of the surrounding scenery but also allowed maximum daylight penetration into the interior. This created a sense of greater space and harmony with nature. Thanks to the unique combination of functionality, design, and precise details, these windows will remain in perfect condition for decades to come.

Modern Log Cabin

In the Modern Log Cabin project, we had the opportunity to work on a unique structure that required our utmost attention to detail and aesthetics. The log cabin type house, nestled in a beautiful natural setting, focused not only on functionality but also on the harmonious integration of wooden windows into the overall design of the house. Our years of experience and meticulous attention to detail throughout every phase of the project were crucial in achieving a result that met expectations and highlighted the natural beauty of this architectural gem.

Family Comfort

As the name "Family Comfort" suggests, this project was focused on creating something special, cosy, and full of family atmosphere. In this home, we paid attention to every detail, from the unique MINTAL wood-aluminium windows that offer both quality and style, to the Panorama system that brings the beauty of the surrounding world directly into your home. Watch the video and experience how we turned dreams into reality, where family and comfort meet in perfect harmony.

Dream House

In the Dom snov (Dream Home) project, architects aimed to seamlessly connect the interior to the surrounding forest, creating a smooth transition into nature. Their goal was to find windows that would be nearly invisible yet highly functional. We are proud to meet even the most demanding requirements, which is why the architects chose MINTAL's quality. Our exclusive custom-made wood-aluminium HS Panorama system meets the highest standards and is the ideal choice for anyone seeking exceptional solutions.
